Se muestran resultados de la evaluación poblacional de concha de abanico en el banco natural de la isla Lobos de Tierra, efectuada entre 5 - 10 de noviembre 2019. El recurso se distribuyó entre 6°20’30,7’’S y 6°27’15,9’’S (noreste de Cabo Cruz y frente al muelle El Ñopo), en profundidades de 7,3 a 30,3 m, estratos II, III y IV, en los que se localizaron concentraciones >40 ind.m-2. La talla fluctuó entre 5 y 96 mm de altura valvar, talla media 46,2 mm; con estructura polimodal y moda principal en 40,0 mm. Predominaron ejemplares madurantes y desovantes. ABSTRACT: Between November 5 and 10, 2019, we conducted a population assessment for Argopecten purpuratus in the natural bank of Lobos de Tierra Island. The resource was distributed between 6°20’30.7’’S and 6°27 ‘15.9’’S (northeast of Cabo Cruz and off El Ñopo pier), at depths of 7.3 to 30.3 m, strata II, III, and IV, in which concentrations >40 ind.m-2 were observed. Height ranged between 5 and 96 mm in valve height (VH), the mean height was 46.2 mm, with a polymodal structure and main mode of 40.0 mm.
