| Resumen: | A nonlinear inertial moderl of a steady-state coasyal upwelling circulation is presented. The model describes a longshore equatorward current and countercurrent structure which is independent of any parameterization of turbulent mixing. Solutions for flat and sloping bottoms are presented. |
